Went out to supper tonight at Famous Dave's.

Stupid stomach bug.
Been so wiped out, even when awake I don't have all that much energy. Hoping I'll feel better tomorrow. Also hoping that I don't give this back to La. Apparently it's one of these bugs that is contagious even after you feel better, and thus gets passed back and forth forever. Ugh.
I've been rarely eating, or eating nothing but bland, boring food, just on the off chance it's going to decide to come back up. But that means I'm always hungry, though no appetite for what I've cooked. Double ugh.
Ahh well. This too shall pass.

Insomnia for the loss.
Woke up to a big bang outside my window. And I'm fairly sure it wasn't another universe coming into existence. But I don't have any idea what it really was, and now I can't fall back asleep.
So, I have the promise of writing rp, raspberry coffee, a ham, egg and cheese croissant, and a baby blood elf paladin who is about as swishy as the day is long. Sometimes, you just have to make do.
Luckily, thanks to the aforementioned things, today isn't one of those days. Life is good.

Hubby is ill. With the hurling and ugh stomach flu. Worst seems to be over though... only about three or four hours. Which probably felt a lot more like a lifetime. It always does with the stomach virus type flu.

I need a Supernatural raining icon. It's never going to stop raining.
I'm looking out the window behind my computer monitor, and all I see is a sheet of water, falling off the porch roof. It's been raining this hard since I got up, probably before that, as well. I don't remember living anywhere that we've had this much rain. Of course, I've never lived in Seattle or Vancouver.
I saw a wild turkey hen and three chicks in our backyard yesterday. Tiny little feathery fluffballs. I'd imagine they're pretty soggy right about now. Poor little critters. Perhaps their father was a duck. But likely not.
Ooh. The rain just started to subside. I can actually see through the water curtain into my backyard. I don't see any turkeys, but a duck could definitely paddle around out there. Mrrrph.
If we slide off the mountain, you know why.
