Dear Brain,

I went to bed early. Lights out, in bed, snoozing away.

I was being good.

Why do you insist on only letting me get a couple of hours of sleep? I'm tired. See? Yawning.

I know there's stress. It will get better soon.

Stop with the nightmares about tornados and moving, and packing rooms of furniture and crap that doesn't exist. It's getting old.

I've had it. Let me sleep or I'm going on strike.

No love,

Me

P.S. That last dream about the pretty boys in cowboy hats a la a certain upcoming movie? That one you can rerun anytime.

...I just woke up with roughly the same problem, though. No dreams. Been drifting than waking up all night.

[snuggles]

The whole drifting, almost asleep, is worse than just not sleeping at all. You feel like you've wasted all that time, with not even sleep to show for it. Bah.

Help yourself! It was very pretty. I'm not trying to be ungrateful or anything. Just, you know. More sleep would be nice!

*smooches* Thank you for the magic sleep!

I hate the need for sleep. But I love sleep when I finally get there. Such pretty mind movies (most of the time).

Hubby never remembers his dreams. I feel very sorry for him.

I just sent you email! hee!

I have some lovely dreams, programmatic in a way (I'll meet X and then we'll go there and then we'll..ermm.;)..or very complicated and twisted film-dreams, with characters, and stories and plots...

*sings you a lullabye*

Between the time zone and my impossible sleeping habits... Meh!

Sweet dreams! *smooch*

I'd like to borrow that dream. It's certainly better than the one I had last night about rushing all over the place trying to save people from some sort of super-flu biologic warfare thing.

You may also borrow that dream. It's much better than the ones about moving, where I have realized at the last minute that there are about a bazillion rooms that have yet to be packed. And every time I finish, there's a door behind some piece of furniture to another room, that, you guessed it! Hasn't been packed.

An interesting variation on my house of never-ending rooms dream.

Oh man, I HATE that! HATE IT!! Then you start stressing about how much you're NOT sleeping and start to remember what it was actually like when you COULD sleep and wonder if it'll ever happen again, and by that time you're just trying TOO hard to actually fall asleep...

*sigh*

I hope it gets better for you. Keep counting down.

But that dream sounds...rowrrrrrrrr.

Yes ma'am! The whole sordid pattern! Argh.

I hope this isn't going to be the case for the next month until we're in the new place. That would suck. I sense Benadryl in my future. *shifty-eyed* Not that I'd use an over-the-counter antihystamine as a sleep aid. No, never.

And the dream was very lovely. *g*

Do you ever dream in LJ comments? That's obnoxious.
