Does anyone else out there have little rituals or traditions or habits that are just "Don't ask" type things? Such as, you start to explain why, and in the end it's just easier to say "Don't ask."?
For example. We have two sets of two coffee mugs. One is grey, one is blue. Alan always uses the grey coffee mugs, I always use the blue. And Alan, Mr. Put-down-the-toilet-seat-and-plug-the-sink, asked why he can't use my blue ones. And I started to explain, and in the end, I just looked at him and said, "Don't ask."
Which worked, by the way.
But the question is, what are your quirks? I guess this is my version of the 'idiosyncrasy' meme that went around a while back.

It'll be enlightening?

I tend to set my tv to switch off automatically after a set time (45-60 minutes, usually) and tone the volume down so I can barely hear it when I go to bed...

I have to fall asleep to talk radio. And the volume level on my clock radio has to be set to 6. I don't know why but I suppose it's just a perfect level for me to fall asleep to even if sometimes it seems too loud or too soft depending on which station I'm listening to. It has to be 6.
At a restaurant, when I order ice tea and put Sweet n Low in it, I always put the spoon I mix with on the empty Sweet n Low packet. I don't put it on a saucer or a napkin or the table. Always the packet. It just seems...the way it should be. LOL
I have a queen sized bed but I can't sleep in the middle of it. I sleep on one side and I don't ever move over to the other side. I'm single, so no regular bedmates... Um. Hmm. At first I thought it was because I used to have a single bed and was just used to staying in one spot when I slept, but... I've had this bed for a few years and even when I go on vacation, I sleep on one side. I think I'm afraid to invade a bedmate's territory so I've trained myself to stay put? Maybe? I have no clue.
That's all I can think of for now. Nothing bad, though! And kinda boring, actually...
