I was really, really wary about this one. All the trailers looked um.... stoogish, if that makes sense. Far too campy. But thankfully, it wasn't like that.
Having only seen it once so far, I can say that I was satisfied. I want to see it again to catch the subtlties before I say whether I like it as much as the first... Those are big shoes to fill. ;)
Yeah, I don't really expect it to be at the same level as the first, either. It's too hard to compete with that. But I've been worrying that it wouldn't even come close and would become a big joke of a sequel. Middle movies in trilogies are always tricky.
