My happy thought for yesterday... Oh, god. Despite all the badness that was yesterday, driving down the street with a huge grin on my face as I listened to a song from my past by Robert Matthew Van Winkle. Yes, I'm being coy. You have no idea how hard it is to admit to this one. :P
My happy thought for today is easy. I'm the guild leader of a fairly large World of Warcraft guild. We had a couple apply to the guild yesterday. Nothing new there, we get quite a few apps every day, and we get couples applying fairly often. This couple? Two guys. The one I talked to wanted to know if there was going to be any grief for them in the guild because of this. It made me proud to be able to say that besides the occasional asshat comment that is quickly squashed, there would be no issues. I like that I have a pretty easy going bunch. I like that I can assure this person he's not going to be dealing with homophobes. That's a pretty good feeling.
