As I watch House, I'm seriously disturbed at the frequency that they start, almost start and perform brain/cranial surgery before someone miraculously discovers at the last second the real diagnosis and stops the procedure.

Please, if you have any doubts whatsoever, never let them drill into my brain until they've checked the cat for fleas, the house for pesticides and my hooker for syphilis.

Thank you.

Hahaha. yes. Seems like brain surgery is the easy answer to everything that ails you!

It's scary! I almost felt like I should say up front when I went to the doctor, "Please, the lump is under my arm. Do not drill into my head!"

Thankfully, he's smarter than House's lackeys are, and never once came at me with any power tools.

i completely agree. considering how much of the time they spend going 'oh, yeah, that was the wrong diagnosis' you'd think they could wait the extra twenty seconds just to be sure.

I know, right? Isn't it worth the extra 20 seconds to not drill needlessly into someone's skull? House really is a jerk. But I just can't help adoring him.

Was watching an ep last night, and he's trying to trick Wilson into hooking up with Cuddy. And the interaction between House and Wilson just made me all warm and squooshy inside. I need to find that clip if it's on youtube. I rewound it and watched it like 5 times.

I think part of what made me like the clip so much is that we so very rarely see House smile. And so when he does, it's just... you want to keep that smile forever.

I'm so strange. :P

LMAO!! Thank you, I needed that laugh, and never were more true words uttered. Oh, and measles, apparently.

But! It's never lupus. I'm amused at how often they suggest lupus, but it never is. So much so, that House hides his secret, secret stash of vicodin in a book about lupus. That made me laugh. :D
